Earn up to 80%* back when your items sell in store or online. Choose to receive your payment by direct deposit or store credit.


1. PREPARE YOUR ITEMS


We accept luxury clothing, shoes, handbags and jewellery. Items must be in excellent condition and freshly dry-cleaned or laundered before consignment.

2. SELECT YOUR SERVICE


Once you have decided what to consign, choose one of the following:

 

Drop off your items in store:
10am - 4pm, Tuesday - Saturday

Request our concierge service:
For large consignments, email admin@consignerscloset.com.au to arrange a home visit with one of our team members.

 

Ship your items:
Live rural or interstate? Email us with detailed descriptions and/or photos of the items you would like to sell and we will guide you through the rest.


3. LEAVE IT TO US

Authentication:


We use Entrupy to authenticate your designer leather goods in the absence of a receipt or proof of purchase. Entrupy authenticates the top luxury brands using artificial intelligence and advanced computer vision techniques. We offer this service at a flat rate of $35 upfront to cover charges incurred by Entrupy.

 

Pricing:


We have an experienced team of consignment specialists who carry out extensive research on each item we receive. Items are priced according to condition, age, brand and current resale value. Your items will then be added to our online consignment software where you can view our pricing and watch when your item sells.


4. GET PAID!


Once your items are added to our online software, we'll keep them on our shelves for a three month period:

 

  • - First two months at full price
    - Two weeks at 30% off
    - Two weeks at 50% off

When your item sells in store or online, you will receive a percentage of the sale price. This percentage varies depending on the final price of your item:

 

- 50% for items under $500
- 55% for items over $500
- 60% for items over $1,000
- 70% for items over $2,000
- 80% for items over $4,000


Sales are automatically reflected on your account as consignor store credit, which can be used directly towards future purchases.

Alternatively, we process direct deposits on request every Wednesday afternoon. You must contact us to arrange a transfer to your elected bank account.

 

If your item does not sell, we'll send you a message when the consignment period is over. You will then have two weeks to collect your remaining items, or we will donate them on your behalf to one of our local charities.
